My name is Caitlin Cress. I'm 28 years old and a dedicated Seventh-day Adventist teacher with a passion for children. I'm a Southern Adventist University graduate and a third generation Seventh-day Adventist.
I can't really call a particular state home as I moved a lot during my childhood. My mobile childhood has allowed me to adapt to many new situations and cultures. Instead of having strong loyalties to a single community, I find myself able to be connected to the community in which God places me.
I graduated from SAU in May 2005 with my bachelor of arts in Elementary Education with an emphasis in language arts. Since this time I have continued my education and have eight credits left to receive my masters of science in Outdoor Education. I am projected to complete my master during the summer of 2012.
I am currently engaged to be married on July 8, 2012. My fiance is ER nurse who plans to pursue his masters after we are married and settled into the community that God has for us. We are both passionate about missions/outreach, disaster relief, and the great outdoors. We spend much of our free time and vacations pursuing these activities, usually accompanied by our friends and family.
I have a lot of varying hobbies: writing, sewing, photography, backpacking, and scuba (to name a few). Most importantly I'm passionate about sharing Jesus with others.
